PuzzleMadness App: How to delete your account

This page outlines the steps you should take to delete your account and all associated data.

If you have access to your account

From the website

Your account can be deleted on the website by following these steps:

1. Login to your account
2. Go to: https://puzzlemadness.co.uk/user/account
3. Press the button marked "Delete Account"

From the app

Your account can be deleted in the app by following these steps:

1. Login to your account.
2. Navigate to the profile page.
3. Access the context menu in the top-right of the profile page.
4. Press "Delete Account", and confirm you wish to delete your account.

If you have lost access to your account

The easiest way to delete your account is to login, and delete your account yourself.

What we will delete

Please refer to our Privacy Policy to learn what types of data we store and how long we store that data for.

When your account is initially deleted, we perform a 'soft-delete' of your account, i.e. your account is disabled, but no data is actually deleted at this time. We will fully delete your account 7 days later. If you try to login to your account during this time, you will have the option to recover your account.

When your account is fully deleted, we delete all of the data we store for your account. This includes (but not limited to):

• Account login credentials.
• Puzzles completed.
• Leaderboard status.
• Achievements collected.
