Every puzzle is generated using our in-house software, has a unique solution, and is designed to be solved logically without guessing.

The aim in a Light Up puzzle is to insert lightbulb in to the grid so that every cell in the grid is lit - a lightbulb will illuminate every cell in that row/column (but not through walls/black squares).

Lightbulbs can't illuminate another lightbulb, and the walls that have numerical clues tell you how many surrounding cells (horizontal and vertical only) contain a lightbulb.
