A Mathdoku puzzle is split up in to regions with clues in the top-left cell of each region. If the clue for a given region is 8 ×, for example, the values in the cells of that region must give a result of 8 when multiplied together.

The standard rules of Sudoku also apply to a Mathdoku puzzle - for a grid of width/height n, each row/column/region must contain the numbers 1 - n exactly once.
