How to play

In a Wordsearch puzzle, you are given a grid of random-looking letters, and a list of words to find in the grid. This is an example puzzle where some of the words have been found, but there are still some left to be found.

These are the words that have already been found: Stab, Hit, Pote, Thrust, Punch, Prod, Elbow and Nudge. Words can appear horizontally (both forwards and backwards), vertically (up and down) or diagonally (both directions). The word will not change direction halfway through - it will be a single direction through.

These are the words still left to find in this puzzle: Push, Stick, Pick, Shove, Tap, Jab, and Poke. Can you find them?

• Each puzzle contains a grid of seemingly random letters and a list of words to find in the grid. The words can appear horizontally (including backwards), vertically and even diagonally, but always in a straight line.
• Once you have found a word, select the first letter with your left mouse button and drag the coloured hilight over to the last letter. Lift your mouse from the left mouse button and the word will be submitted. If you have corectly found the word, it will stay hilighted and it will be crossed off your list of words to find.
• You can also play on a tablet by selecting the word with your finger/stylus.

We publish a wordsearch every day, you can play a wordsearch from a previous day from the archive. If you have a (free) account with us we will track which puzzles you have already completed and you will be able to compete in our leaderboards.
